About The Owner
Finding Inspiration in Difficult Times

My name is Meg Grimm, and I am the owner of Pixie Dust Traveling Boutique. I am a licensed cosmetologist with a background in child education. Prior to starting my business, I worked as a Lead Preschool Teacher for several years and also served as a part-time substitute teacher at a local charter school. I am currently furthering my education in Medical Billing & Coding.
Pixie Dust Traveling Boutique was founded in 2021 during the pandemic. At the time, I found myself out of work and navigating new challenges as a mother. Due to my daughter’s congenital heart defect, our pediatrician strongly recommended removing her from daycare, as the potential effects of COVID-19 on children with her condition were still unknown. Becoming a stay-at-home mom gave me the opportunity to plan, prepare, and ultimately build what is now Pixie Dust Traveling Boutique.
Since launching, I have worked diligently to build a strong and trusted reputation within the Western New York community. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with other Buffalo-based businesses and, more recently, have begun donating services for local events and benefits. Giving back is incredibly important to me, and I am proud to volunteer at school events, community fundraisers, and currently at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo—bringing joy and special moments to children and families.
In addition to my business, I am the Director of Bills Babes, a local nonprofit organization. Each year, we host our annual event, Bills Babes Beat Disabilities, raising funds for various charitable organizations throughout Western New York.
Pixie Dust Traveling Boutique proudly maintains five-star reviews across Google and continues to grow. We are excited to launch our newest venture, the “Cloud Cruiser” Mobile Spa experience, in June 2026.
I truly love what I do. Being able to combine my passion for children and cosmetology while creating magical, lasting memories—and supporting my family along the way—is something I am incredibly grateful for.
